GUILDERLAND — Daniel and Silvia Carsillo of Novato, California are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ginelle L. Carsillo, to Michael E. Poole, son of John and Elizabeth Poole of Guilderland.

The future bride is a graduate of Novato High School in Marin County, California.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sonoma State University and is obtaining her doctoral degree for marriage and family therapy at Alliant International University.  She is a marriage and family therapist for the Child Guidance Center in Stamford, Connecticut.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Guilderland Central High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wagner College, as well as a master’s degree in human resource development from the Rochester Institute of Technology.  He is a senior director of human resources for PepsiCo’s global functions at its headquarters in Purchase, New York. 

The couple resides in Stamford, Connecticut.

 An October 2014 wedding in La Jolla, California is planned.
