GUILDERLAND — Beverly Jane (née Trumble) Reeb, her husband said, was great fun, had a remarkable intellect, and created beauty in many ways. A social worker, she also helped children with special needs.

She died on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, in Albany. She was 79.

ALBANY — Beverly Ann Bardequez of Albany “went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2022 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her beloved family,” her family wrote in a tribute. She was 73.

She was born April 13, 1949 in Albany, the daughter of the late Edward and Girlie Ferguson.

Harold J. Hughes Jr.

ALTAMONT — Harold J. “Hal” Hughes Jr. of Altamont, who was devoted to the law, died peacefully at Albany Medical Center on Thursday, June 30, 2022. He was 92.

The menu offerings at Indian Ladder Farms are a collaborative and creative effort between Executive Chef Luca Brunelle; his sous-chef, Laur Faljean; and their team; and reflect the two chefs’ different backgrounds in the culinary arts.

The process was difficult for both the school district and parents as well as the preschools, said Superintendent Marie Wiles, and she hopes some legislative or policy changes will be made statewide before next year.

Previously identified as Pyramids’ Rapp Road residential project, the 222-unit development — 192 apartments and 30 townhomes — has been branded by its developer as The Apex at Crossgates.

State Education Law requires a public hearing “that provides for the participation of school personnel, parents, students and any other interested parties” before a code is adopted by the school board.

The Albany Dutchmen baseball team, composed of collegiate players from all over the US, held a doubleheader at Dutchmen field in Guilderland Center against the Boonville Baseball Club on June 23.
