GUILDERLAND — Susan K. DiCamillo “returned to the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020,” her family wrote in a tribute. She was 73.

ALTAMONT —  John R. Van Wormer, a father and grandfather who ran his own business, died on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020. He was 75.

He was born in Schenectady to the late Willard and Doris Van Wormer.

SYRACUSE — On Saturday, Dec. 19, John C. “Jack” Walters — husband, father, and friend — died, awaiting the arrival of his devoted family, at Loretto Nursing Home in Syracuse. He returned there after testing negative from a battle with COVID-19.

Mixed Breed Brewing is a microbrewery founded by Guy Bucey, 36, a veteran and entrepreneur, and four of his friends.

The school district continues to plan for the eventuality that the area will be declared a micro-cluster zone, which requires random COVID-19 testing of students and staff for the schools to remain open. So far, about 75 percent of Guilderland respondents have agreed to be tested.

Guilderland resident Robyn Gray, in a letter to The Enterprise editor this week, wrote of her “dismay, concern, and fear that the town government of Guilderland has gone off the rails in terms of its planning and zoning board of appeals.”
