Pvt. Matthew T. Cesarano receives military police training

cesarano-color-webMatthew CesaranoMatthew Cesarano, son of Tom and Amy Cesarano of Niskayuna, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in August 2012. After 13 weeks of basic training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island, S.C., he then spent four weeks in Marine Combat Training at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C.

Currently, Private Cesarano is enrolled at the Military Occupational Specialty School at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. for Military Police training. Military Police are technically proficient in policing activities, corrections and detention operations, and police and criminal intelligence operations.

Cesarano is the grandson of Charles and Shirley Unser of Slingerlands, and the nephew of Katy and Andy Carl of Voorheesville and Melissa and Pat DeCrescenzo of Delmar.

His twin brother, Michael, is a freshman at Niagara University in Niagara Falls, where he is majoring in communications.
