For the love of Caitlin: The Clancy family, father David, left, a past chief of the McKownville Fire Department, and mother Maura, stand beside their children, Molly and Patrick, as they pose with a photo of Caitlin at the Western Turnpike Golf Course before the dinner portion of the Caitlin Clancy Golf Tournament benefit that was held in her honor last Saturday.

A picture of Caitlin Clancy reminds golfers at Guilderland’s Western Turnpike course why they are playing on Saturday — to benefit a scholarship fund in her name. A Guilderland High School graduate, Clancy died last year of complications from diabetes during her first semester of college. Hundreds of golfers attended. The sign-in table featured the tournament trophy as well.
