A young metal detectionist spent an exciting afternoon looking for buried treasures at the Saddlemire Homestead in Knox. She learned her skills from Tony Torrisi and Rob Wolfe, local experts on using metal detectors at historic locations. Torrisi and Wolfe recently found a Berne-Knox-Westerlo class ring that had been buried for almost 50 years and returned it to its owner.
