On May 5, Indian Ladder Farms opened a new bar that serves local beer on 10 taps in New Scotland

Fresh local beer: Dietrich Gehring stands behind the new bar on the grounds of the Indian Ladder Farms in New Scotland. He and his wife, Laurie Ten Eyck, grow the hops that make the beer and wrote a book about it, displayed in the foreground. The hops are grown across Route 146 from the barn with the bar where beer is served from many taps every day.
