Over with ease: Voorheesville’s Leah Weber clears the hurdle in the 400 hurdles. Weber finished second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 78:6, and won in the 100 hurdles with a time of 18.6 seconds.

Up, Up and away: Voorheesville’s Leureah Cummings clears the bar at 7 feet, 6 inches during the pole vault event at home on Tuesday afternoon. The Voorheesville girls lost to Cobleskill-Richmondville, 101 to 40, and won against Cohoes, 103 to 36. For the season, the girls are 1-2.

Ball away: Voorheesville’s Bailey Sickles throws his first attempt in the shot put event where it landed at 36 feet, 3.5 inches. The Voorheesville boys won against both Cobleskill-Richmondville and Cohoes by the scores of 71 to 60 and 72.5 to 63.5. For the season, the boys are 2-1.

Sprinting ahead: Voorheesville’s Emma Hampston runs the second leg of the four-by-800-meter relay during Tuesday’s dual meet against Cohoes and Cobleskill-Richmondville at home. Hampton’s relay team finished with a time of 11:11.
