Ready to take off: Guilderville’s Jeremy Collison prepares to leap from the starting board before his 200-yard individual medley race at Voorheesville against Shenendehowa. Collison won the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.86 and also came in first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.00. The Guilderville team combines swimmers from Voorheesville and Guilderland since Guilderland has no pool.

Emerging from the water: Guilderville swimmer Samuel Cole does the breaststroke portion of the 200-yard medley relay on Tuesday afternoon in Voorheesville. Cole’s team finished fifth with a time of 2:02.17 and also finished fifth in the 500-yard freestyle. Guilderville lost to Shenendehowa, 104 to 74.

Parting the water: Brendan Moon of Guilderville competes in the 200-yard freestyle on Tuesday against Shenendehowa, Moon finished fifth with a time of 2:17.29. He also competed in the 100-yard backstroke and finished fifth with a time of 1:07.63.
