On the horizon, a barn and farmhouse torn asunder by a tornado form a background to a placid field scattered with their debris. Nearly a football field away from its longtime home, a heavy bunk feeder from the barnyard was launched there on May 22. The storm took with it the nails, wooden planks, and tin pieces of roof from the farmhouse and barns on either side of Bozenkill Road, leaving one scrap on top of the feeder.
