Many soles evoke many souls: Ed Frank, founder of Choices 301, stands by a display at the Beacon of Hope on Gun Club Road, which contain hundreds of shoes donated by a local high school and mounted as a memorial remembrance of loved ones lost in drunk driving crashes. Frank said the quilt made by the Train Station Quilters depicting the shoes will be easier to transport as he visits area schools and organizations to relay his message about safe driving. Choices 301 is named after the number on the stock car owned by Frank’s son, the late Ed frank Jr., a car racer and police officer who used his stock car in demonstrating safe driving to young people.
