Sharing the bounty: Following a 40-year tradition, the Kiwanis Club of Western Turnpike Guilderland gave 15 boxes — for 48 adults and 58 children — filled with turkey and fixings to needy local families for Thanksgiving. Suzanne Witkop coordinated the effort, collaborating with Guilderland’s five elementary schools and with the Price Chopper on Western Avenue.
