These local students have recently distinguished themselves:

— Cecilia Snow of Schenectady plays Sarah in the musical Ragtime, being performed at the State University of New York College at Potsdam;

— Geoffrey Snow of Schenectady is in the C.H. Gang and Harlem Ensemble at the State University of New York College at Potsdam;

— Nathaniel Scott, the son of Colleen O’Connell and Angelo Scott of Schenectady, is studying abroad in Panama City, Panama at Tropical Ecology, Marine Ecosystems and Biodiversity Conservation for the fall 2013 semester. Scott, a junior environmental studies major at St. Michael’s College in Vermont graduated from Guilderland High School.
