NEW SCOTLAND — The Voorheesville American Legion Post 1493 will hold “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” on Sunday, March 20, from, 8 a.m. to noon.

The menu will include eggs cooked to order, French toast with fruit, corned-beef hash, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast, juice, and coffee.

KNOX — Eric Kuck, a Knox Town Board member, has announced that there will be a public forum about a proposed fracked gas pipeline to be held Saturday, March 12,  from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Knox Town Hall on Route 156 in the hamlet of Knox.

SCHOHARIE COUNTY — Peter Lindemann will discuss his book, “A Crooked Gun: The Civil War Dead of Schoharie County,” which describes the 396 men from Schoharie County who died in the Civil War, and his forthcoming book, “Rambles in Schoharie County,” at the Carlisle Historical Society Meeting on Wednesday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m.

St. John’s Lutheran Church at 140 Maple Ave. in Altamont has an informal Sunday worship service at 8:30 a.m. and a traditional service at 11 a.m.

Sunday school starts at 9:45 a.m.

At the 11 a.m. service, the theme will be “Promise and Problem: The Story of Joshua at Gilgal,” based on Joshua 5:9-12.
