Meet Mark King, new director of the MHLC

The Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy invites the public to come, hike, and enjoy the last bit of summer at its Normans Kill West Preserve this Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Normans Kill West Preserve, meet the conservancy’s new director, Mark King, and enjoy complimentary ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery of Stuyvesant Plaza.

A brief ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. for the Royal Bank of Canada’s 2013 gift presentation to the conservancy.

To get to the preserve, at the traffic light across from the Delaware Plaza in Delmar, turn north onto Normans Kill Boulevard. The preserve is at the end of the road.  Ample parking is available.
