Monday take-out meals are back

NEW SCOTLAND — Beginning on Sept. 16, the Voorheesville Methodist Church, at 38 Maple Ave.) is once again providing take-out meals on Mondays.

On Sept. 16, the menu consists of baked lasagna with a green salad, crusty bread, and dessert.

The cost is $8 and meals are to picked up between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Patrons may drive up to the church and the meals will be brought to their cars.

To reserve a meal, call the church office at 765-2895.

The project’s motto is, “A day without cooking and clean-up is  a day without stress.”

Future meals will feature baked chicken, Korean beef and rice, baked ham, meat loaf, turkey, and chicken Parmesan.
