Join a roundtable discussion on April 10 at 2 p.m., led by Cornell Cooperative Extension master gardeners and local gardener Sharon Miller. You can explore the library’s seed collection and decide what’s best for your garden.

Healthy habits for a healthier you

Join us at 6 p.m. on April 14, for the second in our series of healthy lifestyles programs. For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to optimize our physical and cognitive health as we age.

This program offers participants an opportunity to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement. You will learn tips and tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. The program will be led by Maura Fleming of the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York. Please register.

Registration for all programs can be done at the library, by phone at (518) 765-2791 or online, at www.voorheesvillelibrary.org/click on the event calendar.

The library will be closed on Sunday, March 27 in observance of Easter.
