Middleburgh residents Tom and Geri White will play traditional folk and roots music during the final concert of the Middleburgh Library’s 2020 Not So Quiet Concert Series, held virtually on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m.

The final concert of the Middleburgh Library’s 2020 Not So Quiet Concert Series will be held virtually on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. The performers will be long-time Middleburgh residents Tom and Geri White who have been playing and performing traditional folk and roots music with a focus on Appalachian and Celtic traditions for over 35 years.

They play a variety of instruments, including guitar, banjo, fiddle, dulcimer, and more, weaving in many songs and tunes they have both written and collected over the years.

Dog Training

On Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. training Your Dog (Online).  Andrea Dugan has been training dogs for competition since 1985. Common complaints she gets from clients are that their dogs are stubborn, refuse to obey, or won’t listen. 

She says:  My methods are unique as I look at training from the dog’s point of view and develop programs based on each dog’s own drives and sensitivities.  I create a two-sided conversation with the dog, and set up situations where the dog is successful." 

Join us for an online introduction to training your dog.  In this first workshop Andrea will compare training methods.

Survey – Dog owner’s needs and provide time for questions and answers.  Registration is required.  This workshop will be held on Zoom.  Once you register you will be given the join link.  Use Zoom on your laptop, computer, device or phone.

Paranormal Activity

New York State Haunted History Trail, the Dr. Best House Museum is an incredible time capsule of life and medical practice from the late 1800s through the late 1900s. We are offering a special opportunity for four people to investigate the paranormal activity at the Dr. Best Museum with Gary Robusto and the team from Tri-City Paranormal.

Raffle tickets are $5. Winners will be announced on Thursday Oct. 15. This is a private event and winners will work with Gary and a small group of investigators following CDC guidelines. Masks are required. Date and Time:  Saturday, Oct 17 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct 18 at noon.
