On Monday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m., the library board will meet at the Middleburgh Library. This meeting is open to the public.
Drop in story time
On Tuesday, May 13, at 10:45 a.m., join us at the Middleburgh Library for drop in story time. Get ready to move in this interactive story time designed especially for children ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers. We’ll read books, sing songs, recite fingerplays, dance and watch a short movie based on a weekly theme. No registration required.
On Tuesday, May 13, at 1 p.m., and every Tuesday at the same time, men and women are invited to come learn the game of Mahjong. No experience necessary; just a willingness to learn and have fun. No registration is necessary.
On Wednesday, May 14, at 11 a.m., join us for Doodle Bugs, art exploration for little ones and their caregivers. This program is appropriate for children ages two and up. Registration is required.
On Wednesday, May 14, at 1 p.m., join us for the Wednesday Matinee. This week’s movie is The Book Thief rated PG-13.
On Wednesday, May 14, from 5 to 6:15 p.m., and continuing every other Wednesday, join us for Kundalini Yoga. This program involves repetitive movements with the breath, building strength, toning the nerves and clearing the adrenal glands. Wear comfortable clothing and bring two blankets or a mat and blanket. A $5 donation is requested. Use the back entrance when entering the building. No registration is required.
On Wednesday, May 14, at 7 p.m., join us for Gilles Malkine. Gilles played guitar with Tim Hardin at the 1969 Woodstock Festival and Carnegie Hall, among many other venues. Tickets are available at the door. A $10 donation is suggested. Please use back entrance.
On Thursday, May 15, at 1 p.m., the friendly ladies of the Knitting Circle meet to knit, crochet, embroider, quilt, and more. You can learn a new skill here or share your own special talents with others or just craft in the company of friends. Drop in anytime. No registration is required
