Bethlehem Library Notes for Friday, December 27, 2013

On Thursday, Jan. 2, at 10:30 a.m., come to the Bethlehem Public Library to learn and practice basic yoga poses, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. This program is designed for kids ages 6 to 9 with an adult.

Pokemon

On Thursday, Jan. 2, at 2 p.m., bring your cards, action figures and favorite fantasy games to the library. This program is for kids in kindergarten through grade 12.

Kid improv

On Friday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m., learn about improvisation and try your hand at some theater games. For kids is grades 1 and up.

Knit One, Purl One

On Sunday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m., bring a current project or, if you’re a beginner, bring size 8 knitting needles; we’ll provide some yarn to get you started. This program is for adults and children ages 9 and up.

Gaming night

On Monday, Jan. 6, at 6:30 p.m., drop into the library for games and snacks. This program is for adults and teens ages 16 and up.

Teen advisory group

On Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 3:30 p.m., TAG will meet. The group meets monthly to talk about teen programs and activities at the library. For grades 6 through 12.

Afterdinner books

On Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 7 p.m., the book group will discuss The Light Between Oceans by M. L. Stedman. New members are welcome. Copies of the book are available at the information desk. Audio copies may also be available.
