Bethlehem Public Library director Geoffrey Kirkpatrick is pleased to announce three new administrative appointments:

Catherine Stollar Peters is the library’s new head of circulation and technical services. She is former head of branch services for Albany Public Library’s Delaware, Howe and Arbor Hill branches. She is also an adjunct professor and Ph.D. candidate at UAlbany’s School of Information Science. Peters replaces Mary Trevor Thomas, who retired in August after twelve years of service at the library;

McGinty has been the library’s head of youth services for seven years. Prior positions include service at the Albany and Newark Public libraries. She holds a masters degree in library science from UAlbany; and

Gordon Noble, adult services librarian has been appointed manager of information and readers’ advisory. He replaces Maureen Brown, who retired in July after 20 years as the library’s head of adult services. A reference librarian at the Bethlehem library since 2001, Noble has coordinated its extended interlibrary loan service for 11 years. He earned his masters degree in library science from UAlbany.
