These local students have been named presidential scholars, each with a grade-point average of at least 3.80, for the spring 2014 semester at Clarkson University:

Christopher T. Gillingham of Slingerlands, a senior majoring in engineering and management;

Timothy R. Beninati of Berne, a senior majoring in civil engineering;

Karen M. Dawson of Voorheesville, a senior majoring in chemical engineering and environmental engineering;

Phillip Anthony Riscica of Voorheesville, a sophomore majoring in engineering and management;
