Serendipity Day Care Cent Expands its nursery school

VOORHEESVILLE — Since 1982, Serendipity Day Care Center has cared for children from infancy up to 5 years of age. Six years ago, Serendipity opened the Big Dip, a before and after-school care program for children in kindergarten up to the fifth grade.

Serendipity has expanded once more, catering to children entering kindergarten. Before full-day kindergarten, the Big Dip had a kindergarten program. Now, because Voorheesville has full-day kindergarten, Serendipity is able to take in more children ages 4 and 5, focusing on kindergarten readiness.

The program accommodates parents who wish to have their child attend a morning program from 9 to 11 a.m. or an afternoon program from 12:45 to 2:45 p.m.

For more information, call 765-2399; tours are always welcome.

An open house for the Nursery School and Extended Nursery School program is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, from 2 to 3 p.m.
