Capital Financial Planning holds charitable golf tourney

Guilderland’s Capital Financial Planning Charitable Foundation held its fifth annual golf tournament and dinner party with live and silent auctions on May 19 at the Albany Country Club.

Over $30,000 was raised for the foundation. A check for $10,000 was presented by Capital Financial Planning’s president and chief executive officer, Todd Slingerland, to Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in honor of Mark Neary, father of Senior Vice President Adam Neary. Mark Neary had received life-changing services at the hospital following a stroke.

The Capital Financial Planning Charitable Foundation supports matching gifts made by financial advisors and associates within its eight-state network as well as donates to a wide range of not-for-profit organizations throughout the year.

Capital Financial Planning is an investment and financial services firm located at 6 Tower Place in the Stuyvesant Plaza Executive Park.
