Community Day

KNOX — The Knox Youth Council is sponsoring Community Day on Monday, May 26, from noon to 2 p.m.  This will follow the Knox Memorial Day parade, which will end at the town hall on Route 156 in the village.

The event will be at the Knox Town Park, behind Town Hall on Route 156 in the village.  Community Day will feature free ice cream and beverages, complimentary pony rides, and face painting.

As usual, all features of the park, including the playground, nature trails, basketball and tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, and a covered pavilion, will be available for use.  In addition, the Knox Historical Museum at the Saddlemire Homestead will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring many interesting exhibits and artifacts.

The Youth Council will also collect donations for the local food pantry.
