Watson named spokeswoman for CDTA

Jaime Watson is the new Capital District Transportation Authority communications manager.

Before joining the team at CDTA, she served as the regional director of communications for the American Red Cross in Albany. And, before that, she was the director of college relations at Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh.

Watson started her television and journalism career in Glens Falls at a local television station. She then spent a decade working in television at Time Warner Cable News (formerly YNN) as a reporter/anchor and senior producer before moving to public relations.

She received her bachelor of arts degree in mass communications with a minor in broadcast management from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. She was born and raised in the Adirondack town of Moriah in Essex County.
Watson currently resides in Clifton Park with her husband, Chris, and their two children
