Survey to help with ag management

ALBANY COUNTY — The Soil and Water Conservation District is seeking cooperation in updating the Albany County Agricultural Environmental Management Strategy.  This is the county’s local approach to agriculture and will define how it works together with the agricultural community to enhance and protect the natural resources and the economic viability of farming, according to a release from the district.

“Our hope is to develop a sound program with a mission, goals, and objectives while bringing all partners together,” said the release. “This strategy will help to direct local agricultural conservation programs and address priority issues and opportunities.”

The survey, which must be completed by Feb. 12, can be found by going to the following URL:  http://goo.gl/forms/85HBHvUbti.
