Thursday, May 19, 2016 (All day)
Location:
Guilderland Public Library

A CDPHP Program beginning at 6:00 pm, presented by NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and Project Safe Point.

Addiction can happen to anyone, any family, at any time. Join us to learn the facts about this growing epidemic. Participants will learn how to talk to young people about drug and alcohol use, how to recognize the warning signs of addiction, and how to prevent an overdose.

This program has two parts. Participants are encouraged to register for both. Each Trainee who completes the training will learn how to respond to an Opioid Overdose, as well as receive a Naloxone kit provided by Project Safe Point.
