Preville leaves Re-Nue Spa

ALTAMONT — William Preville who founded Re-Nue Spa on Maple Avenue and has worked at the salon for 15 years is retiring. His last day is Friday, Oct. 14.

“He is a Goldwell educator; we loved learning techniques from him,” said Rhonda Flansburg who co-owns the spa with Barry Gasparro.

Gasparro had earlier called Preville “the guru” as he served as the spa’s in-house instructor, in both advanced cutting and coloring techniques.

“He brought a lot of knowledge to the shop,” Flansburg said this week. “We established relationships with his clients. We’re like a family.”

Eleven people work at the spa, which, in addition to hair care, offers waxing, facials, massage therapy, and manicures and pedicures, said Flansburg.

“Now we’re looking for another stylist,” said Flansburg, who can be reached by phone at 861-5723 or online at www.AltamontRenueSpa.com. “We want somebody who enjoys what they do, is knowledgeable in their field, and wants to spend a long time with us,” she said.
