Jeremy G. LaJeunesse
ESERANCE Jeremy G. LaJeunesse, of Conover Road, died on Monday, July 11, 2011, as a result of injuries from a car accident. He was 20.
Mr. LaJeunesse was born in Cobleskill in 1990, the son of George and Cathleen Talbot LaJeunesse.
“Jeremy was a loving, caring, giving, and creative young man,” his family wrote in a tribute.
His family remembers him lovingly as an animal lover and avid sports fan. He played varsity baseball and golf during his middle- and high-school years at Schoharie Central School.
“Jeremy took great joy in everyday life, and spent many hours skateboarding, playing golf, fishing, entering classic cars in car shows with his father, and hanging with his many friends,” his family said.
Jeremy LaJeunesse is survived by his parents, George and Cathy LaJeunesse, of Esperance; his maternal grandparents, William and Shirley Talbot, of Leesburg, Fla.; his maternal aunts and uncles, Dave and Jean Talbot of Pleasant Valley, Ken and Barb Talbot of Scotia, and Lynda and Bob Pahl of Newman, Ga.; his paternal aunts and uncles, Gene and Anna LaJeunesse, of Greenville, S.C., Jim and Jerri LaJeunesse, of Nashua, N.H., John and Linda LaJeunesse, of Niskayuna, Tom and Lynn LaJeunesse, of Slingerlands, and Irene Ruddy of Guilderland; and his longtime close friend, Jenna Kulikoss of Duanesburg.
His paternal grandparents, Eugene F. and Marie G. Smith LaJeunesse, died before him, as did his uncle, Dennis Ruddy.
A funeral service was held on July 16 at the Esperance-Sloanville United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by the White-Van Buren Funeral Home of Delanson.
