The Enterprise is the newspaper of record for Guilderland, New Scotland, Berne, Knox, Westerlo, and Rensselaerville. For out-of-county subscribers, one year, $30; six months, $24. Postal charges incurred by a subscriber’s failure to notify the newspaper of an address change will be billed to the subscriber upon renewal. No refunds on subscriptions. Single copy: 75 cents. We do not accept credit cards. * Please note there is an additional charge for newspapers delivered outside the continental United States. CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING: $12 for the first 20 words, 30¢ for each additional word over 20. $7.00 for each consecutive repeat, 30¢ for each additional word over 20. Deadline: Wednesday at Noon, firm. LEGAL NOTICES: Cost to run a legal notice is: $.39 1/2 per line, $.30 1/2 per line repeat. To run a legal notice for two times, cost is $.70 per line; three times, $1.01 per line; four times, $1.31 per line; LLC (required to run six weeks), $1.92 per line. For example: If you ran an LLC ad which had ten lines, for the six week run, your total cost would be $19.20. After the course of your legal advertising ad run, a notarized affidavit and bill will be sent to you. For more information, call the office at (518) 861-6641. For all other contributions, Tuesday at 12 noon before publication. DEADLINES: The deadline for Legal Notices and Classifed Ads is Wednesday at noon before publication. LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: The Enterprise opinion pages are an open forum for our community. We encourage readers to express their thoughts about issues that appear in this newspaper or affect the community. Letters should be brief (with an outside limit of 1,000 words) and MUST include the writer's address, name, and phone number for verification. The editor may reject letters that have been printed elsewhere. Letters concerning elections will be cut off one issue before the election at the editor's discretion. No unsigned letters. Deadline for letters is Tuesday at noon. PHOTOGRAPHS: 50 year, 60 year and over anniversary notices with a picture are run free of charge. A $18 fee will be charged for wedding/engagement/anniversary announcements with a photograph. A $25 fee will be charge to run a picture of a student with a write-up. PLEASE NOTE: All announcements will run AS SPACE PERMITS. Student news graduation, deans' list, and awards will be run free of charge and AS SPACE PERMITS. |
