GUILDERLAND — Nicholas and Marcia Siver of Guilderland are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Stringer, to Joseph Dier, son of Kevin and Hildy Dier of Red Hook, New York.

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The College of Saint Rose in Albany and is a speech language pathologist for the Ichabod Crane Central School District in Valatie.

The groom-to-be earned his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School and is an attorney with Bond, Schoeneck, and King in Albany.

An August 2016 wedding is planned in Florence, Italy.
