WESTERLO — Courtney Elizabeth McDermott and Eric Miles Markson were married on Sept. 21, 2015 on the pink sand beach of Stonehole Bay, Bermuda with close family and friends in attendance.

A lovely fall celebration of their marriage was held on Sept. 25, 2015 at Settles Hill Tree Farm for all who could not attend the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Kelli McDermott of Westerlo. She is a graduate of Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School and the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi.  She is a licensed veterinary technician at Aqueduct Animal Hospital in Schenectady.

The groom is the son of Dr. Jeffrey Markson of Guilderland and Sylvia Fletcher of Malta.  He is a graduate of Guilderland High School and SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica.  He is a Software Developer 2 at Fidelis Care in Albany.

The couple currently reside in Clifton Park with their two four-legged companions, Obie and Lefty.

They are all looking forward to relocating to their new home in Westerlo, in the spring of 2016.
