You’re invited to a Harvest Festival on Game Farm Road in Berne

To the Editor:

The board members of the Game Farm Road property invite you to join them at a Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon to 4 p.m., on Game Farm Road, off of Switzkill Road (County Route 1) in Berne. This is an ideal time to visit the property, see the spectacular views, and enjoy the crisp autumn air.

We will offer hayrides through the fields, an opportunity to see and taste apples pressed into cider, and the option to build a life-sized scarecrow for your garden at home.

We urge all residents of Berne and surrounding areas to drop by. Come! Hike some of the newly upgraded trails, pick a pumpkin, or simply sit and enjoy the uninterrupted views of the Catskills.

It is a glorious time of year, a time to celebrate the fruits of our harvest, and enjoy the beauty around us before the cold of winter settles in.
