Fox Creek Market hopes to get back on its feet

To the Editor:

The bridge [which carries Route 443 over the Fox Creek] will be open this Friday and we will be vending at the Summerfest, selling our awesome pizza and cold drinks on Saturday at the Berne town park; all proceeds will be for restocking our coolers and shelves.

We are hoping to see everyone, and are very excited that possibly our store will be back on its feet after losing this horrible battle!

Editor’s note: Ray Weiler and his wife, Tammy, own the Fox Creek Market in Berne, which is located right next to the creek. They said they lost most of their business this summer because of state roadwork, which took out the bridge carrying Route 443 over the creek.
