Third grafitti arrest: Joshua T. Boyark was arrested on July 19.

GUILDERLAND — Graffiti has marred the bridge at Frenches Hollow for years, says Joseph Stein, who lives nearby, and on July 16, he saw two men, in broad daylight, adding to it.

Stein called the police, who arrived and arrested Patrick J. Gaitor, 24, of 20 Meadowbrook Drive, apartment 43, Slingerlands, and Luke C. Mosca, 21, of 651 Morris St., Albany, on charges of making graffiti and possession of graffiti instruments, both misdemeanors, and trespassing and unlawful possession of marijuana, both violations.

Three days later, on July 19, Joshua T. Boyark, 25, of 5 Madison St., A3, was the third person to be arrested in a span of three days for making graffiti on the concrete embankment of the Frenches Hollow pedestrian bridge. Boyark was charged with two misdemeanors.

Chief Carol Lawlor of the Guilderland Police Department said Boyark had no connection with the two men arrested on the previous Thursday.

Stein caught them all on film. Last month, Stein had shared pictures with The Enterprise of an oil spill on the Normanskill also near his home. The state's Department of Environmental Conservation saw that it was cleaned up.
