ALTAMONT — During its 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, June 7, the Altamont Reformed Church congregation will celebrate Children's Day. The special service will be led primarily by the Sunday school students.

Everyone is welcome to attend. This year, the Sunday school has been collecting a free-will offering for STRIDE (Sports and Therapeutic Recreation Instruction Developmental Education), an organization that brings together wounded warriors and disabled children by providing sports opportunities to help restore shattered lives of recently injured service members returning home from battle.

The offering will continue to be received through Children's Day. If you would like to contribute, please bring your donation to the church at 129 Lincoln Avenue or mail your donation to Altamont Reformed Church, Post Office Box 671, Altamont, NY  12009, Attention: STRIDE.
