To the Editor:

In the past, I have never felt the need to publicly comment on a school board election but this year is different. I would like everyone to know that I support Matt Tedeschi for a seat on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo School Board.

I have known Matt for many years and am well aware of his involvement in community affairs, and his genuine concern for our children's education goes without question.

Over several years, I have attended many BKW track meets to watch my grandsons compete. Whenever I saw Matt at a meet, he was always yelling encouragement not just to his children and my grandchildren but to every member of the team, urging them on to do the very best they could.

Matt's enthusiasm and spirit concerning the success of our children will be a valuable addition to our school board and I would urge everyone to consider Matt for a school board position at the upcoming election.
