Colonie Class of ’65 plans 50th reunion

More than 400 graduates of Colonie Central High School Class of 1965 are invited to gather at Shaker Ridge Country Club on Saturday, June 13, to celebrate the school’s 50th reunion.

The event, which begins at 5:30 p.m., will feature a cocktail party followed by food stations catered by 2 Shea Catering.  DJ Bob Treffiletti will spin tunes from the 1960s and ’70s.

“Since last December, a committee of 10 has been trying to contact as many classmates as possible,” said reunion organizer Dean Rueckert in a release.  “Many classmates have never attended a reunion or just a few.  Since this is our 50th reunion, we have been hearing back that this one is extra special.  It seems as though more classmates are making an effort to attend.”

Those interested in registering may do so by visiting http://cchs65reunion.com.  The cost to attend is $75.

For additional information, email Rueckert at deanrueckert@gmail.com, or call him at 441-0739. To join the event’s Facebook conversation, go to cchs65reunion.
