St. John’s

St. John’s Lutheran Church at 140 Maple Avenue in Altamont has an informal Sunday worship service at 8:30 a.m. and a traditional service at 11 a.m., on Sunday, March 13.

This Sunday will be observed as the Fifth Sunday in Lent. Holy Communion will be offered at the 8:30 a.m. service.

Sunday school starts at 9:45 a.m.

At the 11 a.m. service, the sermon is titled "Nothing to Lose," based on Philippians 3:8-14.  The men's quartet, The St. John's Singers, will perform, "You Walk for Me to Calvary," by Patrick Liebergen.
